A poem in two voices

Between 2021 and 2023 we the @collective220 and @koz.collective photographed each other country.
Through photography we wanted to blur the lines between Algeria and Morocco, creating a gateway to navigate from one place to another, a rematching of visuals between neighbouring countries, and commun geneologies.
"A poem in two voices" is a single series created by six photographers and curated by @danaepanchaud from Centre de Photographie de Genève, and supported by @prohelvetia_cairo

The exhibition takes place simultaneously in Algiers and Casablanca.

This series is my contribution to the project, capturing the landscapes, emotions, and moments of transition that define a unique journey from one side to the other. To reach Morocco, located to the west of Algeria, I first traveled east to Tunisia to catch a plane. Through these photographs, I reflect on the arbitrary lines that divide us and highlight the resilience of human connection.
